Well feeling gr8 joined IBM, one of the biggest MNC and everyone’s dream company. I remembered when we were doing engg. everyone amg us dreamed for company like IBM..

 

I got my seat the very first day. There is something different here:- m talking abt keyboards & chairs. Even after so many days m not very comfortable with them.  One more thng I saw “Patent Pending” word written over that keyboard, well I hardly understand wat it means n don’t want to know that..No doubt  they r of gud quality(its IBM after all MNC..well.. status to maintained karna padega naa!!!). Well just to adjust my chair for now I broken one chair & wow When I saw it after passing one weekend I got a New chair….hey good yaar I got new chair even without firing ny complain.

 

Well speciality (Identity) of my new manager is that u’ll always find him with a cup of coffee which IBM provide to every employee…just to make sure that ppl shd not waste paper cups. I alwys wanted to know that ….Wo cup mein coffee hoti hai ya nahi…But I don’t dare to be ..he is my manager after all. My team mates always chatter with each other in Marathi don’t know yaar wat they say…I hardly understand something..ohhh god beware me from this Marathi boys n girls…m helpless…”My Bad”..born n bought up in Maharashtra n I hardly talk in Marathi…

 

Our Guidelines says us not to wear jeans n unformal dresses I hardly understand wat to do…Cotton suites are hectic to manage and formal dress need ironing everytime u wear it…Well shd I charge my company for iron n washing???well yes..why not ?but…they had not given me ny such option…We had a large garden full of greenery (specially this time) –the most likely/lively part in our premises….And our server lab is full of black boxes only J ..it has m/c with almost every flavors of Unix…Its very cold in the server room always doono why?? I guess we had a fan in m/c itself. Well ppl had to carry coffee/tea, if they want to come back alive from server room…n in order to work there for long, better to take few more cups of tea….

 

M looser yaar -> On the very first day gotta know that no free lunches :(, no snaks :(. I cried a whole week for the same….Well ok, My New package made me feel happy n i was ready to pay for lunch..But for the first day we got free lunch token from IBM.

Guess wat happen then...
We standed on the very long queue n as its my turn now....n n n....The Canteen manager refused our free token by arguing with us that IBM had lots of dues already :( ??? Is that our mistake??

Well then our hr-person (a very sweet lady) talked with canteen manager..I shd better say she had a quarrel with that person and then we r allowed to Eat..well Cheers to Girl !!!…they can Fight for nything J
